Audit, fix, and keep your website accessible
Each engagement is scoped to your real pages and templates. We test against WCAG 2.1 Level AA using the same method every time, and we document what we tested so your records hold up.
1. Accessibility audit
We inventory your site, select a representative sample of primary pages, light pages, complex templates, and PDFs, then test each one against all WCAG 2.1 A and AA success criteria.
What you receive
- A page inventory and sampling rationale
- A findings report with each issue mapped to a WCAG success criterion, severity, screenshots, and the location in the page code
- A prioritized remediation plan and an executive summary for leadership
- Test records: tools, versions, browsers, screen readers, and dates
Method
Automated checks (axe-core and similar engines) catch roughly a third of WCAG issues. The rest require people: keyboard-only testing, screen reader testing with NVDA and VoiceOver, zoom and reflow testing, and cognitive review of content. We do both.
2. Remediation
Choose how you want the fixes done:
- Guidance only. Your team fixes issues using our report. We answer questions during one follow-up review.
- Assisted. We work alongside your developers, writing or reviewing the fixes in your codebase or CMS.
- Turnkey. We make the fixes, retest every affected page, and deliver a signed verification report.
Content fixes such as alt text, heading structure, link text, and plain-language rewrites are included in assisted and turnkey work where the content is in scope.
3. Monitoring and ongoing compliance
Accessibility regresses when pages change. Our monitoring plans rescan your site on a schedule, alert you to new issues, and include support hours to fix them. See pricing for plan details.
4. Documentation for your records and procurement
- Accessibility statement. A public page describing your conformance status, known gaps, how to request accommodations, and how to report barriers.
- Accessibility Conformance Report (ACR). Built on the VPAT 2.x format, for RFP responses and procurement files.
- Remediation and verification records. Evidence that issues were found, fixed, and retested, which supports good-faith compliance efforts.
5. Staff training
Two-hour remote sessions for web editors, content writers, developers, and procurement staff. Topics include accessible documents, alt text, forms, color contrast, and checking work before publishing.
What we do not do
We do not certify legal compliance, and no vendor can. We do not provide legal advice. We do not guarantee that a complaint will never be filed. We test, fix, document, and verify, and we tell you plainly what is left.
